It's that time of year when the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s (BEP) DC Public Tour and Visitor Center offers extended hours to the visitors of our nation's capital. The extended hours will begin on Monday, May 7, 2007* and end on Friday, August 31, 2007.*
Tickets are required for all tours, on a first-come, first serve basis. We offer same day tickets only. The ticket booth opens at 8:00 AM; however, visitors begin forming a line for tickets as early as 6:30 AM. BEP's DC Tour -- Summer Hours of Operation:
*(First Monday in May through the Last Friday in August)
Ticket Booth: 8:00 AM until all tickets are gone (usually by 9:00 AM )
Congressional Tours:
Extended Summer Hours (MAY-AUG)*
8:15 AM , and 8:45 AM 4:00 PM, 4:15 PM, 4:30 PM , and 4:45 PM
Group Tours: 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM (every 15 minutes)
Public Tour: 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM and 12:30 to 3:45 PM (every 15 minutes)
New Extended Summer Hours (MAY-AUG)*
2:00 PM – 3:45 PM (every 15 minutes) 5:00 PM. to 7:00 PM (every 15 minutes)
Visitor Center Extended Summer Hours (MAY-AUG)*
