Bureau of Engraving and Printing Announces 2017 Year-End Closure

As an efficiency measure, the Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) facilities located in Washington, DC and Fort Worth, Texas will shut down operations at the close of business on Friday, December 22, 2017, through Monday, January 1, 2018. United States Postal Service mail delivery and other special deliveries will be suspended during this time.

Both Tour and Visitor Centers will close to the public at the close of business on Thursday, December 21, 2017, and will re-open to the public on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Please note that the BEP gift shops offer a wide array of unique gift items, including uncut sheets of currency, souvenir cards, vignettes, and presidential portraits. To order products online, go to bep.gov or call 1(800) 456-3408. Telephone purchases will not be available during the closure. Online orders received will be processed beginning January 2, 2018. The BEP gift shops are located in Washington, DC at 14th & C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228 and in Fort Worth, Texas at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131.
