Bureau Of Engraving And Printing Announces 2014 Year-End Closure Schedule

As an efficiency measure, the Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) facilities located in Washington, D.C. and Fort Worth, Texas will shut down operations at the close of business on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015. The United States Postal Service mail delivery and other special deliveries will be suspended during this time. Both Tour and Visitor Centers will close to the public at close of business on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. The Washington, D.C. Tour and Visitor Center will re-open to the public on Monday, January 5, 2015. The Fort Worth Tour and Visitor Center will re-open to the public on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

Please note that the BEP gift shops offer a wide array of unique gift items, including uncut sheets of currency, souvenir cards, vignettes, and presidential portraits. To order products online, go to www.bep.gov or call 1(800) 456-3408. Online and telephone purchases will not be available during the closure. The BEP gift shops are located in Washington, D.C. at 14th & C Streets, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228 and in Fort Worth, Texas at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131.
